1. What is Enlighten Society?
Enlighten Society is an NGO dedicated to the cause of spreading good cinema by screening great National and International films.
2. When will be these films screened?
Enlighten will showcase movies of all genres from across the globe on every Sunday so that no one cinema lover is left aside. The show would begin anywhere between 10 am to 11 am according to the length of the film. You will be informed in advance with the help of a schedule.
3. How will the members come to know about the schedule?
The schedule would come out on the 1st of every month, starting from 1st June 2007. It will be put up on our website and if you have registered yourself with us, you will receive a mail and also receive via sms. The schedule would also be put up at Cinemax theatres and Metro Adlabs and in selected newspapers and other forms of media.
4. How many screenings will be held in a year for the member?
Fifty-two screenings will be held throughout the year. Every Sunday One Screening.
5. What is the membership fee?
Rs. 1500 is the annual membership fee per member excluding service.
6. Can a person see a single film by paying a fee?
No.
7. What can be done if I want memberships in bulk?

8. Is the member allowed to invite any guests?
NO.
9. Where will be the films screens?
You have a choice of selecting your location as per your convenience.
Cinemax Versova (Andheri) and Metro Adlabs.
10. Is my membership eligible for both the locations?
You are eligible only for the location that you preferred during your registration. But, if a member wants to see a film (which he missed at his own location) he must inform the Enlighten office by mail or phone and at most occasions we would make arrangements for them to see the film at another Enlighten location.
11. Do the members of all the screens get an opportunity to watch all the films?
Yes. Our structure is such that at the end of the month each person at each screen would have seen the same films.
12. Is my membership transferable?
No.
13. Can I suggest films that I want to see?
Yes. Once you become the member, you can mail us the films you wish to see on the big screen.
14. I want to work/volunteer with Enlighten. What should I do?
You must contact the Enlighten Office.
15. I am a Filmmaker; I want to screen my film at Enlighten?
If you are a filmmaker (short/feature), you can contact us or send across your film via courier on DVD format.
16. On what format would we screen the film?
We would screen most films on 35 mm and a few on DVD.
17. What kind of films would Enlighten show?
We show World’s Greatest Films. Most films are rarely available and never seen before on the Indian big screen will be screened. For details click here (Films).
18. Whom should be the cheque favoured?
